Dubuz — Disclaimer and Safety

Last updated: 22 September 2026 Applies to: the Dubuz websites, including https://dubuz.com and our regional addresses, and the Dubuz mobile applications we publish.

1. What Dubuz is, and what it is not

Dubuz is a hosting and intermediary platform. We provide a place where people can publish listings and contact each other.

We are not:

  • the seller or the buyer in any transaction between users;
  • the employer or the candidate in any recruitment;
  • an agent of either side of a transaction; and
  • a party to any agreement you make with another user.

2. Listings are posted by private individuals at their own responsibility

Listings are created by users, who are responsible for what they post. Thousands of items are posted every day, and we have limited control over listings and cannot review every one at the moment it is published. We therefore cannot and do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, lawful, safe, available, genuine, or of satisfactory quality, or that a seller, buyer or employer is who they claim to be.

We do not verify every user. Where a user is shown as verified, that means we reviewed the documents they submitted at that time — it is not a guarantee of honesty, solvency, or the quality of what they offer.

3. You must check everything properly before you act

Because we do not control listings, the responsibility to check before you act is yours. Before you pay, travel, sign, or hand anything over:

  • read the listing carefully, including the condition, price, currency and location;
  • ask questions and get answers in writing;
  • inspect the item, or have it inspected, before paying;
  • for vehicles, check ownership documents, service history and inspection reports, and test drive;
  • for jobs, research the employer, and never pay a fee to get a job;
  • verify anything that matters to you independently. Do not rely on a listing, a photo, or a badge alone.

4. Safety guidance — meeting, paying and communicating

  • Meet in a public place. For a handover or an interview, choose a safe, well-lit, public location, during the day where possible. Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back.
  • Inspect before you pay. Do not pay for something you have not seen. Prefer collecting the item in person.
  • Do not send money in advance to someone you have not met and do not trust. Prefer in-person handovers over advance transfers.
  • Never share one-time codes, passwords, card security codes, or full card numbers with anyone who contacts you through the marketplace.
  • Keep the conversation on Dubuz where you can, so there is a record of it.
  • Trust your instincts. If an offer looks too good, or someone pressures you to hurry, stop.
  • Jobs: research the employer before applying, never pay upfront fees, and meet or interview in a public or official place.
  • Vehicles: verify the seller's identity and the ownership documents, get a vehicle inspection report where possible, and test drive before purchasing.

5. What you can report, and how

We pair the limits above with a path to act on them. You can report:

  • a listing — from the listing itself, using the report option on the item (available on the website and in the mobile app);
  • a reel or story — from the reel or story itself (website and app);
  • a user or an account — by emailing support@dubuz.com, describing the account and the problem.

Reports go to our moderation team. Tell us the item (or the account) and what is wrong, and add any detail that helps us review it.

6. What we do about reports: moderation and removal

When a listing, reel or account is reported, our moderation team reviews it. Where content breaks our Terms of Use or the law, we may:

  • remove or hide the listing, reel, comment or other content;
  • expire a listing so it stops appearing as active; and
  • suspend or close an account, including accounts that repeatedly break the rules.

Where we can, we tell the user why. If you believe a decision about your own content was wrong, contact support@dubuz.com to ask for a review.

7. Prohibited items

Our Terms of Use list the items and content that must not be posted. They include: anything illegal; weapons, ammunition and explosives; drugs and controlled substances; protected or endangered species and items derived from them; human organs, tissue, blood and human remains; stolen goods; counterfeit or pirated goods; forged documents, identities or currency; hacking tools and malware; surveillance equipment used to invade privacy; other people's personal or financial data; sexual content involving minors; unlawful commercial sexual services; unlicensed gambling; and content that harasses or discriminates. Sexual content involving minors is a zero-tolerance matter and will be reported.

Reported listings and reels that break these rules are removed. See section 5 for how to report.

8. Our liability

Dubuz is not a party to any transaction between users and, to the maximum extent permitted by the law that applies to you, we are not liable for the conduct of users, for the content they post, for any transaction between users, or for a third-party service's acts or omissions. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

Nothing in this page excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and any mandatory rights you have as a consumer. If you are a consumer, you keep all protections given to you by the law of the country you live in. The full limitation-of-liability wording is in our Terms of Use.
